Mike Brake received his commission in the U.S. Air Force through the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps at Grove City College, Pennsylvania. After completing undergraduate pilot training at Laughlin Air Force Base, Texas, he then completed F-4 training at Luke Air Force Base, Arizona. He flew F-4s until 1980 when he transitioned to the F-16. He served our country honorably for just shy of 28 years. He is a loving husband, father of 3, grandfather of 8 and great-grandfather of 1. He is my hero.
